Where We Crossed is a human archive of personal stories. Community Letters are text-based contributions shared in the spirit of curiosity, respect, and cultural exchange.
Respectful participation
Share your experiences honestly and in your own words. Different perspectives and difficult experiences are welcome, but please discuss people, places, and cultures with respect.
Avoid stereotypes, sweeping generalizations, or treating your personal experience as representative of an entire culture, nationality, community, or group.
Privacy and personal information
Please respect the privacy of others. Do not share private or sensitive personal information about another person without appropriate permission. When telling a story involving someone else, consider whether identifying details are necessary.
Prohibited content
We do not accept content that is abusive, threatening, hateful, deliberately discriminatory, sexually explicit, defamatory, or intended to harass or harm others.
We also do not accept plagiarism, fabricated experiences presented as genuine, or content primarily created to promote or advertise a product, service, or campaign.
Moderation
Where We Crossed reserves the right to review, edit for clarity or formatting, decline, restrict, or remove a Community Letter that does not meet these guidelines or raises concerns about privacy, safety, authenticity, or other legitimate issues.
We may also update these guidelines as the archive grows.
Reporting concerns
If you believe a Community Letter violates these guidelines or raises a concern about someone's privacy or safety, please contact us through support@wherewecrossed.com or the contact information provided on this website.
We will review reported concerns and take appropriate action where necessary.
